This year we will take you to explore the Ghost Town of Swansea, Arizona - a copper mining town that existed from the 1870's into the late 1930's. Full of history and sites to explore, Swansea offers a unique and exciting camping experience. Our knowledgeable and experience guides make this trip informative, exciting and memorable!

Your trip will begin with our rendezvous in Quartzsite, Arizona, from which we will travel into the desert backcountry of west-central Arizona to the ghost town of Swansea. From our camp we will take 4WD trips to the Bill Williams River, the mining district of Ibex (where we hope to see Bighorn sheep) and the Plomosa mining range. We promise to share sites and experiences you won't find in travel guides!

Bring your own vehicle, gear and food - or let us provide any or all of your camping needs. We can provide transportation, camping equipment and gourmet fireside meals to our guests. We will tailor the trip to suit your needs and budget, no matter where you are traveling from.
