If you have ever wanted to explore the San Diego backcountry, but just didn't know where to start, or you don't have the right vehicle for off-road exploring, then we have the answer for you.  From dramatic scenery, historical sites, old mines, wildlife, or the dramatic spring flower bloom, we offer one-day and overnight tours to suit your desires and budget.

Your Day Tour will begin with an 8am pickup at your hotel or other location.  From there you will travel east into San Diego County's amazing and diverse backcountry. You will tour little-known sites and experience the environment, wildlife, and amazing desert and mountain flora. 

Day Tours last 8 hours, and we can tailor the days activities to your specific wishes.

EACH DAY TOUR INCLUDES:

• Hotel (or other location) pick-up and drop-off
• Snacks, beverages, and a complete lunch
• A pre-planned itinerary based on your wishes
• Transportation in our specially equipped off-road tour vehicles
• An experienced backcountry guide who promises to make your day a special and safe experience
• Perfect for ages 5 to 85!

COST - $199 per person

Your guide will pick you up at 7am to begin the days adventure.  We will drive approximately 90 minutes to our first destination in the Anza Borrego Desert, and from there we will travel to and explore remote desert backcountry sites.  Whether you prefer hiking, photography, rock-hounding, dramatic desert scenery, or just exploring by vehicle, we will tailor the days activities to suit your desires.  Or if you would prefer, we offer our pre-planned desert tour, we promise to provide a day of exploring that you won't forget!

This package includes complete transportation, sack lunch and beverages, any applicable fees or permits, and a knowledgeable, experienced guide.

Group Size is 2 to 12

Price - $175 per person (standard sack lunch option, which includes sandwich, chips, beverage and fruit)

We also offer an upgraded "Chuck Wagon" lunch option, which includes bbq burgers or ribs, chuck-wagon beans, salad, fruit, and beverage. 

Price - $145 per person.
